It was a really good Auto show, with a lot of news. My preferred vehicle is of course the Volkswagen Golf R Sportwagen.
Its just this amazing thing I can't stop gawking at. Having a MK7 Golf with only a 1.4 Turbo engine makes me think how amazing this must be, because my car feels special even as the "basic" model that it is. Hope I get to drive it someday, or even better, own it.
What cars at the LA auto show did you like best?

I'm here to say it was the new Acura ILX before the hoards off Jalops storm in here just to say that.

The ZR2 Colorado.
Refreshed 300.
ATS-V Sedan.
I can't pick one...
I really hope GM builds the ZR2. I don't see why they would have waiting until the LA Auto Show to reveal it instead of SEMA if they weren't going to build it.

Nice Choices. And yes, Chevrolet NEED's the ZR2 as a mini Raptor alternative.

Man....lots of great cars. That Golf looks great, the GT350 looks amazing and the ATS-V is pretty fucking awesome too. If I HAD to pick one I think I'd have to go for the GT350.

The GT350 was my second choice. Really hope it is as good as its been hyped.

At this point the way American cars are right now, I think it's going to be every bit up to the hype. A lot of these new cars are making me wish I was willing to take the hit on depreciation on a new ride!

Golf R Sportwagen as well... That thing is so damn cool, and the worst part is, the US might never get it. That car is literally the definition of what my dad wants too, if they were to bring it over here, I guarantee he'd be the first in line to buy one.

Wait, did they let you sit in the R Sportwagen?
It was closed when I was there.
It was probably my favorite car as well...right behind the GT350.

R400. My dreams right there.

America is now what Europe once was. Great sports-cars, no compromise, each their own character

I don't know if a lot of people would, but it would DEFINITELY get Volkswagen noticed. And they do need it now in the US

Aside from everything being ultra heavy, it's a good time to be a car enthusiast for sure!

Nope! Oh man I wish I could've sit in it.
The GT350 has a lot to live up to

Yeah, I mean it's a great looking car, and the current generation Golf and GTI have been getting nothing but good marks across the board from pretty much everyone. So while this isn't exactly the same as those, it shares a lot of DNA, so it's probably an excellent car.

No contest, haha.

Tanner Foust's introduction to VW really injected some life to the brand.
